Chicken Korma

Ingredients
500 gms chicken (cut into small pieces)
¼ cup coconut (scraped)
1 tbsp coriander seeds
½ tsp cumin seeds
2 tbsp ginger garlic (paste)
4 Green cardamoms
3 tbsp Oil
2 onions (sliced)
5 red chilies dried
Salt to taste
¼ cup yogurt
2 cup of water
Method
  • Clean, wash the chicken.
  • Grind red chilies, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, ginger,garlic, green cardamom and scraped coconut.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and cook till they are translucent. Now add chicken pieces and cook on high heat for 5 minutes stirring constantly. Make sure the chicken does not brown.
  • hen add ground paste and add 1 cup of water, salt and mix it well, now bring to a boil. Reduce heat and add beaten yogurt stir well and simmer cook for 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve hot with rice or chapati.
